Birthday Giveaway!

www.somethingsplendiferous.com August is always a little bittersweet, because I know I will have to go back to work soon. Leaving my kids is never easy. I love my job, but I love my kids more. August is my birthday month, so I thought it would be a good time for a giveaway! I love my birthday and I love that my family always makes me feel special.

August is my birthday month, so I thought it would be a good time for a birthday giveaway! I love my birthday and I love that my family always makes me feel special.  Every since my husband forgot to get me something for our first Valentine’s Day, yes, *gasp* he will never live that down, he’s been pretty good about remembering our important dates.  Although, as I get older, it’s not really the gifts that matter, it’s more about the time spent together.

www.somethingsplendiferous.com Do your students like to read? I know mine do. They especially love to see their progress as they watch their reading punch cards fill up! I call them "punch cards" because that's the best way to describe them, but I actually put little stickers on them. Feel free to punch them though! I just don't because I like to print the two pages back to back so they can write their name and goal on the same card. You can copy the cards separately too! I have included an "action plan" line on the back as well. This really helped my students to think about the steps they needed to take to make their goal a reality. I hope your students enjoy their new reading cards! Happy Reading!
